We have violins, violas and cellos from sixteenth size through full size available for rent. All rental instruments are personally set up by Joe with good quality bridges and strings. The normal rental period is six months although we can sometimes do shorter or longer rentals. A rental instrument may be exchanged for the next larger size at any time during the rental period without charge, depending upon availability. At any time during the initial six month rental period, we will apply the rental charge to the purchase of the instrument.
Monthly Rental Rates
All rates include instrument, bow, case and rosin. Higher quality bows are available for an additional charge. New York sales tax (8.875%) will be added to the monthly rate. For Basic or Intermediate instruments, you may purchase insurance for an additional $4.00 per month for violins and violas or $8.00 per month for cellos in order to cover any damage or loss of the instrument.
